This paper examines the degree to which the anticipated 2025 National Budget for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development should prioritise fulfilling the fundamental educational requirements of ECD Education in Zimbabwe. The brief assesses the extent to which the budget addresses issues related to the rehabilitation and development of school infrastructure, provision of essential teaching and learning materials, as well as ensuring the availability of an adequate pool of qualified and well-trained teachers. Zimbabwe's education sector is crucial for achieving the nation's Vision 2030 objectives, particularly concerning access, quality, and infrastructure across all educational levels. The government aims for a net enrolment ratio of 98% by 2025, yet faces significant challenges, particularly in rural areas where resources and qualified teachers are scarce.en_US
