dc.description.abstract | Welcome back to the 8th issue of the Zimbabwe ECD Voice 2022. What a year! an eventful and busy year for ZINECDA. We’ve gone through thick and thin, but we’ve always come out on top.
With Christmas right around the corner and the year coming to an end, it is a wonderful time to reflect on what we have accomplished and what we want to prioritize for the future. Much has been accomplished over the last decade to improve the quality of Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) programs. As we (ZINECDA) continuously celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are reminiscing on milestones taken advocating for legislation at national and regional level to protect our early learners from hazardous environments and climatic shocks through providing evidence-based research upon which to base new policies. In this issue, ZINECDA reflects on some of the main activities that have been held in the past couple of months where it participated in many policy advocacy forums to influence a conducive policy environment for ECD learners in the region. | en_US |
